Our aqua classes are non-impact workouts in the swimming pool which serve great for toning and improving cardiovascular endurance. Buoys, resistance cuffs and/or noodles will be used to increase resistance.
A weight lifting class utilizing a barbell, weight plates and dump bells. Each muscle group is specifically targeted to increase muscular strength and/ or endurance. (Intervals: with added cardio intervals in between the resistance training.)

The intent of Yoga is to increase the mind'body connection through breathing, stretching and strengthening. We also increase our focus and endurance by holding poses. Yoga can also be a great place to relax and restore.

The score, created with specific beats and tempo changes, transitions the workout from one toning, strengthening or cardio move to another, and targets every major muscle group in the body. The Zumba program borrows Latin flavor from the following dance styles: Cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, cha-cha-cha, Reggaeton, samba, belly dancing, Bhangra, hip-hop, and tango Instructional classes are offered at LifeCentre Athletic Club by professionally trained and licensed Zumba instructors. To become licensed, instructors must participate in a basic skills instructor workshop, and then have the option to become trained in specialized areas.
