Our aqua classes are non-impact workouts in the swimming pool which serve great for toning and improving cardiovascular endurance. Buoys, resistance cuffs and/or noodles will be used to increase resistance.

Muscle Blast

A weight lifting class utilizing a barbell, weight plates and dump bells. Each muscle group is specifically targeted to increase muscular strength and/ or endurance. (Intervals: with added cardio intervals in between the resistance training.)

HIGH Fitness

HIGH Fitness is a hardcore fun fitness class that incorporates interval training with music you love, and intense easy-to-follow fitness choreography. It combines FUN (pop songs of old and new that everyone knows and loves) with INTENSITY (interval, plyometrics, and cardio) with CONSISTENCY (each song has specific simple moves taught the same by all instructors). Together they make a recipe for success, repeat participation, and results! HIGH Fitness produces a high caloric burn and full-body toning through its carefully formulated choreography that alternates between intense cardio peaks and toning tracks. There’s no better way to describe it than “Body Sculpting Fun”. Get addicted to begin fit!

Yoga

The intent of Yoga is to increase the mind-body connection through breathing, stretching and strengthening. We also increase our focus and endurance by holding poses. Yoga can also be a great place to relax and restore.

Zumba

Music is the key ingredient to LifeCentre Athletic Club Zumba classes. The score, created with specific beats and tempo changes, transitions the workout from one toning, strengthening or cardio move to another, and targets every major muscle group in the body. The Zumba program borrows Latin flavor from the following dance styles: Cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, cha-cha-cha, Reggaeton, samba, belly dancing, Bhangra, hip-hop, and tango Instructional classes are offered at LifeCentre Athletic Club by professionally trained and licensed Zumba instructors. To become licensed, instructors must participate in a basic skills instructor workshop, and then have the option to become trained in specialized areas.

The LifeCentre Athletic Club Silver Sneakers group exercise classes offer you the best opportunity to stay on track toward your health and fitness goals. Our signature classes are designed specifically for older adults and taught by specially trained, certified instructors. You are sure to find a class that suits your need and abilities. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.

Sports Conditioning

At LifeCentre Athletic Club, we are driven to prepare athletes to perform better in their sport, no matter what level in a positive, challenging environment. Our team’s combination of being former elite athletes coupled with our wealth of knowledge in the sport sciences helps us relate to the training needs of every athlete. We personally design a specific training program for each athlete within a small group that averages 6 athletes. Athletes need to have a purpose in their training. Our conditioning motivates athletes to achieve set training goals that are essential for better “on field” performance.
